There is a vibrance to the fall season that is tangible. Apple cider. Pumpkins. The first crackling fire. Crisp Air. Crunchy leaves. The textures, smells, and tastes of fall are a source of comfort and excitement. It is my first fall away from the Eastern United States. And though the color changes are not as dramatic and the air is a bit more temperate, fall has enveloped Vancouver.

The fall palette of colors shines through in fashion, in decor, and especially in the foods that we eat this season.

No matter where you are, you can embrace the fall palette, a seamless mix of bold and natural color.

DSC_0176I invite you to play with the fall palette. Cook a seasonal meal. Buy a yellow cashmere sweater. Adorn your couch with a new throw pillow in your favorite fall tone. Simply look out the window. And to friends in other parts of the globe not experiencing fall, I send you crisp fall leaves, a late batch of sunflowers, and pumpkin pie.
